on dash island, tokio built a boathouse (船屋 ; funaya) to keep them safe and protected from the elements. they also added a hearth, giving a warm atmosphere to their cold island home.

to the most amazing, most honest, most brilliant boy in the entire world (second only to the five other brilliant boys that make up tokio (YES INCLUDING KOJIMA)), happy 39th birthday! so much of my childhood was spent looking up to you, and it was through you that i learned what it means to be a good man. thank you for everything, tomoya!

in any case, this episode features the whole tokio making a hearth for the boathouse! it's one of my favourites if only because the thought of them making a hearth together is so god damn sweet. additionally, we have leader and tomo with tomatoes! tomatoes are some of my faaaaavourite things to eat, so i enjoyed this segment more than i should, probably.

it's now the 1st of november in japan, and you know what that means?
that's right, it's my favourite time of the year: tomo week!
for all you first-timers, tomo week is (obviously) a week-long celebration for tomoya!
it starts on the 1st of november and ends on his birthday, the 7th of november.
it used to be for interviews, but in 2016 i decided to make it a yearly subbing project instead.

anyway: happy start of tomo week 2017! i hope you guys enjoy the days to come.
